  • Entertainment Application

    March 17, 2017 is the deadline for applications to participate in the entertainment program. There is no application or audition fee. However, first time applicants must submit a video of your performance, and a completed Crew List with your application. The Festival Office reserves the right to accept or reject applications based on Festival needs. Accepted applicants will receive a confirmation letter as soon as possible and an entertainment schedule approximately two weeks prior to the event.
  • Important Information

    The Festival will provide a sound system with up to four microphones and a 16'x24' stage. No "stage curtain" or dramatic lighting is available. Political and religious viewpoints are not to be promoted at the festival site by performers, whether through distribution or use of literature, symbols, or performances. The content of dances or performances must be tasteful and appropriate for all ages. Festival management must approve all performances and content prior to the festival. Only Festival management can make adjustments to the entertainment schedule and reserves the right to change your performance schedule if necessary, and stop performances which exceed the assigned time period or have offensive content.
  • Maximum 25 minutes (includes entrance and exiting of the stage)
  • Times are given on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. We will contact you about the time and, if it is already taken, work out a different time. Saturday 2-2:30 p.m., 4-4:30 p.m. and Sunday 4-4:30 p.m. are reserved for Parade of Nations and Fashion Show(Adult and Children) and are NOT available.
  • Agreement

    I, the undersigned, wish to participate in the Columbia International Festival. I have read and agree to abide by Festival Rules. As the representative of the group/organization named on this form, I also acknowledge responsibility for any loss or damage to people or property caused by anyone we enlist to help us during the festival, and further release the Columbia International Festival Committee, its agents and festival staff/ volunteers, and the SC State Fairgrounds and its employees from any claims concerning my organization or volunteers resulting from events at the festival. I am responsible for listing all workers related to my group (including children ages six & up) on the Crew List and making sure all are informed of and understand the festival regulations.
